What is the Sorbet Strainer?

The Sorbet Strainer (also known as the Blank Strainer) is specially designed to crush and blend frozen ingredients into a smooth, creamy texture.

Unlike the Juicing Strainer or Smoothie Strainer, it has no filtering holes. This allows all ingredients to be fully processed and blended together, creating rich and velvety sorbets.


How to Make Perfect Sorbet

01. Assemble the Sorbet Strainer

Insert the Sorbet Strainer into the juicing bowl by aligning the red dot on the strainer with the red dot on the bowl.

Attach the auger and complete the top assembly. The silicone ring at the bottom seals the pulp outlet, allowing ingredients to be fully blended.

02. Use Properly Frozen Ingredients

For the best texture:

  • Freeze ingredients for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  • Let frozen ingredients thaw for 5–10 minutes before juicing.
  • Do not insert ice directly into the juicer.
  • Avoid over-thawing, as it may result in a watery consistency.

Using properly frozen ingredients helps create a thick, creamy sorbet while protecting your juicer from unnecessary strain.

03. Add Extra Flavor

Customize your sorbet with ingredients such as:

  • Milk or plant-based milk
  • Yogurt
  • Honey or syrup
  • Lemon or lime juice
  • Vanilla extract
  • Mint leaves
  • A pinch of salt

For an even creamier texture, lightly coat frozen fruits with condensed milk before processing.

04. Keep the Smart Cap Open

Always keep the Smart Cap open while making sorbet.

Since the Sorbet Strainer has no filtering holes, closing the Smart Cap may cause ingredients to build up inside the bowl and interrupt the process.

05. Feed Small Portions

Add ingredients gradually in small portions.

This allows the auger to process each piece evenly and helps prevent large chunks from remaining unprocessed.

For mixed-flavor sorbets, alternate between ingredients and let the juicer blend them naturally.

06. Mix & Serve

Once processing is complete:

  • Stir the sorbet with a spoon.
  • Add your favorite toppings.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture.

07. Store for Later

Sorbet can be enjoyed immediately or stored in a freezer-safe container.

Before serving frozen sorbet, allow it to soften for a few minutes for easier scooping and a smoother texture.
