This vegetable juice recipe was fun to make. It has a vibrant colour and is packed with plenty of healthy, fresh nutrition for your muscular system.

It is a potent blend that supports overall muscle health, providing the necessary nutrients for strength, endurance, and recovery. Regular consumption of this juice could help maintain optimal muscular function and performance, whether you’re an athlete or simply looking to stay active and strong.

Taste

A very neutral taste, slightly sweet and earthy.

Ingredients

  • 2 beetroots
  • 3 capsicums, red
  • 250g bean sprouts

Juicing Time: 6 mins
Juice Qty: 700ml
Serves:  3

 

 

Preparation

Beetroot

  • Cut in half and then into quarters
  • Slice each half into thin slices to make it easier to press.
  • Juice with skin on (you can also juice the leaves and stems if you have them).

Capsicum

  • Remove the green stems
  • Cut into halves or quarters to fit in the wide chute
  • Remove excess seeds (you can juice them)

Bean Sprouts

  • Juice whole in handfuls

Cold Press Juicing Method

Start making this juice recipe with the bean sprouts. Add them to the juicer in handfuls at a time. Don’t overfeed the juicer.

Next, add the capsicum halves one by one.

Juice the beetroot slices last. I like to add about 1/4 at a time.

Tip: bean sprouts don’t last long so make sure you juice them quickly after purchasing. To store for up to 5 days rinse in cold water, pat dry with a paper towel, and place in air tight container lined with more paper towel.
